This past weekend, Melissa and Erik wed at Rixey Manor, a beautiful venue tucked away in Rixeyville, Virginia. It's been a very rainy wedding season, but after some precipitation in the morning, the weather cleared as the bride and groom finished getting ready with their friends and family. I was so happy we were able to take portraits outside!
The ceremony was in a clear tent behind the Manor, which was then flipped for their reception. The decor was focused on greenery and white florals. During cocktail hour, we snuck away for some newlywed portraits (after forcing Melissa's brother to take some photos with the horses onsite). These horses love bouquets and will come up to the fence to try to sneak a bite!
The couple danced the night away under the stars and finished the evening with a sparkler exit.
