Caitlyn and Jamie smashed the glass on the 21st night of September (yes, that was the first song of the night) at DAR Constitution Hall in Washington, DC. DAR Constitution Hall is an iconic DC venue with beautiful columns, views of classic monuments, and a variety of rain or shine options. Though poor weather loomed, C & J were able to have their ceremony outside with the Washington Monument as the backdrop. I love having ceremonies during golden hour, because the light was so warm and glowy as the couple said their vows.
Guests came from near and far to celebrate with the couple, who made sure everyone was having the best time all day. Cocktail hour was held in the grand library, and I'm obsessed with the medical field-inspired signature cocktails, a nod to the bride and groom's professions.
