Sara and Brenton are married! They had perfect weather for their late September wedding at Blue Valley Winery and Vineyard, a beautiful venue overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains in Delaplane, Virginia.
I got to know Sara and Brenton during the Middleburg engagement session last fall, and I've been looking forward to celebrating this sweet couple. Their closest family and friends gathered with them at golden hour for their ceremony, and how gorgeous is their view?
We started the day at Sara's AirBnb while she and the bridal party got ready. I settled into the kitchen for detail shots, and finally got to use my deep blue linen flatlay mat. The bridal party wore a similar color, and I love how Sara's custom invitations popped against it.
We then headed to the venue so that Sara could get into her dress. She was a showstopper in Justin Alexander, while Brenton and his groomsmen wore beautiful grey suits that perfectly complemented the mountains.
During their reception, Sara and Brenton paid homage to their Virginia Tech friends with a big group photo, then kicked off the real party! Sara and her father even surprised guests with a choreographed dance. At the end of the reception, Sara and Brenton jumped into their vintage getaway car.
It was a beautiful day with some of the warmest people, and I'm so excited to share these sneak peeks from their gorgeous Blue Valley Winery wedding!
